Social Mobility Commission’s ‘State of the nation’ report, published 28 November 2017
A recent damning report analysing the ever-growing division across Britain for social mobility and those with a disadvantaged background, sited Crawley in the Gatwick Diamond as one of the locations that needs to address diversity and inclusion.
The Social Mobility Commission published its fifth state of the nation Social Mobility report in November 2017 and highlighted that some affluent areas - including Crawley - are among the worst for offering good education, employment opportunities and affordable housing to their more disadvantaged residents.
